Health Club Receptionist

Hotel Overview: Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel, is located only a few steps away from the Masjid Al Haram and the Holy Ka’aba. This 76-story hotel, one of the world’s tallest, is the focal point of the Abraj Al Bait Complex, part of the King Abdul Aziz Endowment Project, is the iconic symbol of hospitality in the Holy City. The hotel authentic hospitality is seen throughout 1618 guest rooms and suites are thoughtfully and elegantly appointed-with extravagant amenities and five-star services that allow for peaceful reflection and repose.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Health Club Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
Assist in all operations of health club and to have knowledge of all Fitness classes.
Assist guest with the use of fitness facilities.
Assist guests with product information and retail sales.
Provide guest information relating to Fitness Classes and special offers.
Assist the instructors with class bookings and managing the calendars.
Maintain stock levels and ensure all products are displayed as per standards.
Follow departmental policies and procedures.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
Reports any problems or questions to Health Club Manager/Supervisor.
Attends pre-shift briefings and handover to Supervisor/colleague at end of shift.
To report any equipment malfunctioning.
To report anything which may be a Health & Safety hazard.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

A passion for wellness
Previous experience in a luxury environment is an asset.
Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required with a professional appearance and demeanor.
Energetic individual who is able to prioritize to complete many diverse tasks concurrently.
Computer literacy in Office, Word, Excel is an asset.
Physical Aspects of Position:

Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:

Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.
Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling.
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.
